"In its external edge it appeared to have an uninterrupted line of exhaust openings or something of this kind, from where, when it flew, a brilliant bluish gleam escaped; which contributed to the perception of its displacement. "We knew stories published in the press, etc., on these strange objects, stating that the higher part is generally hemispherical like a cupola. This may be, but this one did not have this caracteristic since it was a cone, which moreover was not truncated at the top. "When we were at some 60 meters of the apparatus, one of my friends made the error to start the engine, in his concern of arriving fast. We did not think either of the possible consequences that could cause our attitude of arrival at the apparatus. "We had hardly advanced of 10 meters, with the engine under operation, that the "disc flying" after a very small displacement (almost unperceivable) rose in an oblique trajectory, at fantastic speed, while passing above us at few meters height. We noted a weird fact there: the water was hot (although it did not burn). "As a consequence of the "visit", the other day there was no fishing. We also saw many dead doves (between 200 and 300)." It was rather large and shone up to the point to being dazzling, as if it was metallic. It moved at enormous speed in direction of the south. When it moved away, its shape of disc or saucer was more visible. CASE #9. - January 5, 1955. - SALTO.- DEPARTEMENT OF SALTO. SALTO 5. (ANI). - the Unidentified Flying Objects also made their appearance in the sky of Salto, yesterday evening, on the city. At approximately 24 hours, groups of people saw strange objects of strong luminosity furrowing the space, They were also seen by Mr. Héctor Carbon, an astronomy buff, who roughly at the same hour travelled in his car by the Paysandú Avenue, accompanied by Dr. Amiels Pandolfi. He stated that little before arriving at the bridge on the river Daymán, he saw a disc, flat, of bluish luminosity, which in an angle of 15 degrees advanced at vertiginous speed, from the south to the north, in the direction opposed to that of his car and losing height. "En su borde exterior parecía tener una línea ininterrumpida de bocas de escape o algo así, de donde cuando vuela, brota el haz luminoso azulado que ayuda a la percepción de su desplazamiento. "Conocíamos relatos aparecidos en la prensa, etc. sobre estos extraños objetos, en cuanto a que generalmente la parte superior es semi-esférica como una cúpula. Pues bien, éste no tenía esa característica ya que era un cono, que por lo demás no estaba truncado en el vértice. "Cuando estabamos a unos 60 metros del aparato uno de mis amigos cometio el error de encender el motor, en su afán por llegar más rápido. Tampoco pensamos en las posibles consecuencias que podría provocar nuestra actitud de llegar junto al aparato. "No habíamos avanzado 10 mts. con el motor funcionando,cuando el "disco volador" tras un pequeñísimo desplazamiento (casi imperceptible) se elevó en trayectoria oblicua, a velocidad fantástica, pasando sobre nosotros a no muchos metros de altura. "Si bien continuaba nuestro estado de asombro, sorpresa, temor, etc. por todo lo visto, decidimos avanzar hasta el lugar donde se había posado la máquina. Comprobamos allí un hecho curioso: el agua estaba caliente (si bien no quemaba). "Como consecuencia de la "visita", al otro día no había pesca. También vimos muchas palomas muertas (entre 200-.y 300 )." El Sr. D'Alvora manifestó que igualmente decidieron pasar el día en la isla porque consideraron que no había ninguna prisa en relatar el episodio ya que difícilmente les creerían la experiencia vivida (véase que recién un mes después se dirigieron a la prensa). - CASO No 8. - 20 de diciembre de 1954.- PAYSANDU.-DEP.PAYSANDU. PAYSANDU.- 20 (ANI). - Varias personas pudieron observar el rápido desplazamiento de un "disco volador" en el cielo sanducero. El ya poco original acontecimiento se produjo a la altura del Kmt.23 de la Ruta 90, en la carretera a Paysandú, en la localidad de Piedras Coloradas. Los Sres. Alberto Sanguinetti y Germán Fraschini,en primer término, y luego el Sr.Enrique Rocha, asi como varios familiares suyos manifestaron haber observado al objeto a unos 800 mts. de altura. Era bastante grande y brillaba hasta el punto de enceguecer, como si fuera metálico. Se desplazaba a enorme velocidad en dirección al sur. Cuando se alejó, fué mas visible su forma de disco o platillo. CASO No 9. - 5 de enero de 1955. - SALTO.- DEP. DE SALTO. SALTO 5.-(ANI).- Los Objetos Voladores Inidentificados han hecho también su irrupción en el cielo salteño, anoche, sobre la ciudad. Alrededor de las 24 horas, grupos de personas avistaron surcando el espacio, objetos extraños, de fuerte luminosidad. También los vió el Sr. Héctor Carbone, aficionado a la astronomía, quien aproximadamente a la misma hora viajaba en su automóvil por la Avenida Paysandú, en compañía del Dr. Amiels Pandolfi. Poco antes de llegar al puente sobre el río Daymán, expresó que vió un disco, de plano, de luz azulina, que en un ángulo de 15 grados avanzaba a vertiginosa velocidad, de sur a norte, en sentido opuesto al de su automóvil y perdiendo altura. De pronto, el disco detuvo su marcha, como estacionándose en el espacio, y de inmediato se elevó verticalmente, despidiendo destellos rojos y verdes, para perderse de vista rápidamente. |
