"Saucers" (still) and hairy "Martians"

The "saucers" keep appearing here and there - always faithful, but always more diverse - sometimes even bringing along "Martians" that barely resemble the earlier described models.

In Loctudy (Finistgrave;re), a bakery worker, Mr. Pierre Lucas, was drawing water in his yard around 4 a.m. when he saw a “saucer-shaped” craft, 3 meters in diameter, land near him. A figure, "a sort of dwarf no taller than a seven-year-old child," emerged and struck him on the shoulder while speaking incomprehensible words. Mr. Lucas fled into the bakehouse, where the "Martian" followed him and appeared under the light.

– He had an oval face completely covered in hair and eyes the size of a crow’s egg, he said.

The bakery worker called his boss, but by the time he arrived, the strange being and his "saucer" had vanished without a trace.

Near Clermont, another saucer descended to 150 meters, paralyzing the witnesses while emitting a smell of nitrobenzene.

In Saint-Brieuc, a saucer took on the shape of a cigar before disappearing.

In Vendée, a dozen luminous, elongated objects passed overhead at high speed and high altitude.

Near La Rochelle, a 5-meter-wide, 3-meter-tall "saucer" hovered near the ground before disappearing. The next day, oily traces were found.

A pursuing mushroom

In the Somme, it's a bonanza.

A police officer in Amiens saw a red-colored saucer flying over the area.

And a grocer in the same town, Mrs. Nelly Mansart, was driving her car with her three-year-old daughter and friends Mr. and Mrs. Delarouzée when she saw a kind of flying mushroom, from whose top emerged purple or greenish flames.

The craft allegedly followed the car at low altitude, skirting the villages as the car passed through, but returning immediately to hover 150 meters above the road after the villages were crossed. Finally, the mushroom rose to the zenith and vanished within seconds.

In Côte-d'Or, a glowing cigar-shaped object, one meter in diameter, reportedly landed silently near the asbestos factory in Pourcuy-sur-Lignon [sic].

Panic-stricken, a village woman grabbed her child and ran to the neighbors. Soon, a full squad of farmers, armed with hunting rifles, ran to the orchard where the object had landed. But when they arrived, the cigar was gone.

The Martians have an English accent

In Dordogne, in Chalais [sic], Mr. Garreau saw a flying tureen land in his field. Two men emerged, dressed in khaki overalls, and shook his hand. Then one of them, with a strong English accent, asked:

– Pariss... north?

Too stunned, Mr. Garreau said nothing.
