In Great Britain

Gunners believe in "flying saucers" and will provide evidence

London, November 21. -- After the new onset of a "flying saucer" reported yesterday near Washington D.C., with five of his employees, now we learn that the men of the regiment of heavy anti-aircraft artillery who on last November 3, had found on their radar screen a "strange object" in the sky in Kent, are convinced that it was a flying saucer.

The gunners maintained their claims despite the explanations provided by the Air Ministry which claims that the strange "object" was nothing but a weather balloon of the meteorology services. The statement issued on this subject by the Air Force did not make them deny their statements.

So they decided to try an experiment: they are going to release a balloon themselves and they hope to demonstrate that it will not produce the same effect on their radar screen as the object detected on November 3.
