AVIGNON, Oct. 27. -- The Mayor of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a village in the wine-growing area with a population of 1.600, to-day banned by decree all "flying saucers" from his district. The decree states: --
The flights, landing and take-offs of airships called "flying saucers", or "flying cigares" of any nationality are forbidden on the territory of the community of Chateauneuf-du-Pape; any airship called "flying saucer" or "flying cigar" which lands will be immediately impounded; the rural constable is charged with carrying out the decree. --
