North-Day (Ontario) September 2. -- Airman Henri Durcle stated that Monday morning, little before sunrise, he saw a "large incandescent ball" motionless a few meters above a telegraph pole of the air base of North-Day.
"The object, he said, had a circular shape in its higher part and it comprised a rectangular box in its lower part. Sparks, dazzling like lightning, left in all directions from the mysterious ball.
Three other aviators corroborated the statements of Henri Durcle.
