Abducting U.F.O.:
The mystery deepens

THE SURVEY LED by the gendarmerie on the disappearance of Frank Fontaine in Cergy-Pontoise (Val-d'Oise) on the night of Sunday to Monday, coinciding with the appearance of what his friends believed to be a UFO, did not allow yesterday to bring new information and the mystery remains.

The river squad of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine explored the Oise, at about three kilometers of the place pf the disappearance, while early in the afternoon, the police, assisted by a tracking dog, again searched the area around the place of disappearance.

"The most extraordinary, said Commander Roger Courcous, commander of the gendarmerie company of Cergy is that we find nothing physically."

"Witnesses of the disappearance, Jean-Pierre Prevost and Salomon N'Diaye maintain their statements and the investigation that was made about them does not doubt their sincerity.

As for the UFO phenomenon, it caused a real psychosis in the district of "Justice Mauve" in the new town of Cergy-Pontoise, where Tuesday night the phone line of the gendarmerie received many calls from people who, from their balconies, saw "something."

U.F.O psychosis in Madrid

It seems that a lot of things were also seen last night in Madrid, where thousands of people spent hours heads up to check the maneuvers of an unidentified flying object that played hide and seek for several hours in the sky of the Spanish capital.

Motorists, alerted by the many radio shows, do not hesitate to stop their cars in the middle of the street to scan the polluted sky. One of the officers in charge of restoring the traffic said: "It was a great circle that seen from below had a foot in diameter, which launched bluish sparks and we are sure that this is not a star."

Hundreds of testimonies correspond to the policeman's. An inhabitant of a suburb stressed on his side: "The craft was moving at a very fast speed and left streaks of green, red and white, and remained motionless for several minutes, as if suspended in the sky".

On the other hand, according to the Madrid newspaper "Pueblo" citing security services, "the middle waves frequency of communications were interrupted for half an hour in the middle of the night." Following these apparitions a real UFO psychosis started in Madrid.

Hundreds of people called the authorities asking to be informed on the phenomenon. Radio stations telephone switchboards were blocked for several hours and hundreds of people declare their readiness to testify.

The General Staff of the Air Force said an investigation will be conducted, as usual in all such cases.
