UFOs and occupants in the Grenoble area, France, 1976:

The article below was published in the daily newspaper Le Midi Libre, France, le 13 janvier 1976.

Grenoble. -- The extra-terrestrials have made remarkable appearances in the Grenoble region, after several months of absence.

The mayor of Claix claimed to have seen, on Saturday, around 5 p.m., a luminous ball which moved in a strange manner in the sky.

A motorist living in Echevis, in the Drôme, Jean Dolski, 41, said he attended at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, between Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans and Saint-Romans, in the Drôme, when a machine 12 to 14 meters high landed, from which three "things" that looked like robots came out, with very short legs. The "things" then returned to their craft; which disappeared "at a fantastic speed", according to the dumbfounded motorist.

Previously, Jean-Claude Silvente, a 10-year-old child from Domène, in the Isère, had already claimed to have seen an illuminated craft of several colors and of conical shape. A very tall blond man with long hair came out, who approached him, holding out his arms. Having made the same observation the next day, when he went to get the milk from the neighboring farm, he immediately alerted his mother, his sister and a friend.

The three of them were heading towards the place, before fleeing, when a big dark red healights rushed at them.

About fifteen children confirmed Jean-Claude's testimony and a 17-year-old young man also observed the conical object, with a circular base about twenty meters in diameter, as it landed on a field at the place called "La morte", at the very place where the children claim to have seen the blond giant wearing a shiny jumpsuit.

All these statements were carefully recorded by the gendarmes, but the radio checks carried out on the spot with specialists did not yield any results.
