Little-known too much by the officials of Paris or Lille, was our Avesnes region also going to be ignored by the "Flying saucers"? Coming so close, in the Valenciennes area, and not pushing a little visit to our area could really be considered as unfair.
Well no! The Avesnois finally has its "flying saucer."
Friday evening, October 15, around 9 p.m., a resident of Hirson came to visit his parents, rue F. Boussus, in Wignehies, when arriving near Quatre-Bras, road of La Capelle to Hirson, a crowd made him get out of the car.
Several people were watching the moves of a "flying saucer" which was visible at a distance estimated at approximately 800 m. high.
This saucer came in the usual form, red-orange disc.
OurHirson resident then went to Wignehies, where on the road from Fourmies to Wignehies, locality Le Pont Pagnier, he could still see this saucer in the sky?
