A FLYING SAUCER IN MESLAN?

Meslan, in turn, has just had a visit from a flying saucer.

Yesterday morning, around 6:55 a.m., while it was still dark, several trustworthy people saw a highly luminous object that crossed the village from west to east at very high speed. The phenomenon was visible for only 3 to 4 seconds before disappearing into the clouds.

According to some, the object was round in shape; according to others, who were a few kilometers from the village, it was somewhat oval and seemed to descend fairly low before shooting back up at dizzying speed.

Among the witnesses to the phenomenon, we can name: Mr. Christien, Quinio, Le Marre father and son, L. Péron, Mrs. Cario, young Le Gleut, etc., as well as the priests who had just entered the unlit church and saw the sanctuary light up as the object passed by.
