The round of the saucers

A "flying cigar" passes near
a tractor of which it
discharges the batteries

SARREBOURG. -- Mr. Marc Louis, residing at the farm of Lhor, in Métairie-Saint-Quirin, declared yesterday to have witnessed a curious phenomenon.

Monday, around 8:30 p.m., returning from Saint-Quirin with his tractor, accompanied by his brother Yvon, he had to stop near a cylindrical object which caused his engine and the lights of his vehicle to stop.

The craft was about 6 meters long by 3 meters high, flew in slow motion quite close to the ground and was orange in color with many phosphorescent reflections. Mssrs. Louis watched it for a few seconds until it disappeared over the horizon.

Strongly impressed, they then wanted to restart their vehicle, but the battery was completely discharged. They had to use the crank, something they never did.

Mr. Louis's mother, who had seen the tractor lights from afar and then nothing, thought it was an accident and came with a lantern to meet her son and also noticed the phenomenon.
