AIX. -- Several residents of Meyrargues observed strange luminous phenomena moving in the sky. They then went to report their discovery to the gendarmes of Peyrolles. During five good minutes, two UFO having the shape of cylinders evolved in the airs, in the south-east of the village of Meyrargues. They, still according to the testimonies, they made a stop before disappearing towards the Durance, between Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade and Pertuis. Long from 3 to 4 meters and moving at a speed estimated between 50 and 100 Km-h., they emitted a noise similar to that of the jet engines of planes. They reportedly passed at less than 200 meters of altitude of one witness.
