Fourmies, or at least the Fourmies residents, should have at least seen a flying saucer.
This is what one of our fellow citizens estimated when he narrated, with imperturbable poise, under what conditions, on returning from Lille with a colleague, he had seen one of these apparatuses.
The heat given off by this craft even left traces on the body of the vehicle... Alas, despite the most advanced flasch [sic], these traces failed to impress the film, more reluctant than the audience. So much so that the chapter on the saucers remains to be written...
