SAINTE - MENEHOULT (From our correspondent). -- Friday evening, at around 08:00 P.M., Mr. Leger, carpenter at the Dubois company, of Sainte Ménehould, and resident of La-Grange-au-Bois, distant two kilometers of the city, came to bicycle to the bugle rehearsal of the "L'Aiglonne" society as usual when suddenly, between La-Grange-au-Bois, he saw a strange craft, in the shape of a cigar on the road, which appeared to be approximately six meters long.
The inside of the craft seemed enlightened by a pinkish gleam.
Stunned by this display, Mr. Léger nevertheless continued on his way but, at his approach and in the darkness, the mysterious craft started, rose in the air at a terrific speed and disappeared.
When he arrived at the rehearsal, and completely upset by this odd encounter, Mr. Léger informed his friends of "L' Aiglonne" of his legitimate fright.
