Sunday morning, a man appeared at the wine shop owned by Mr. and Mrs. Navelo on Chemin de Plaisance, carrying a Toulon newspaper.
"You know," he said, showing the newspaper, "I'm Mr. Otaviani, the one who discovered the flying saucer."
Immediately, he added:
"We're going to celebrate, too. You're going to prepare seven bottles of sparkling wine and five bottles of white wine for me, and take them to my home at 13 Boulevard Bauchière. In the meantime, I'll take a bottle of rum and a bottle of pastis. I'll pay you for everything at my place."
It was when they realized that number 13 didn't exist on Boulevard Bauchière that the shopkeepers understood that this individual, whose identity is unknown, had robbed them...
