Today, much to our regret, we cannot announce the arrival of new Martians on Earth. Except, of course, those at the Auto Show. But, as everyone knows, those aren't real...
However, new "saucers and flying craft" have been reported.
FROM NEVERS. -- Several residents of Corbigny (Nièvre) reported having seen, on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a luminous cigar-shaped object in the sky, with two discs attached underneath. The craft was moving at high speed.
Meanwhile, an office employee claimed to have observed a large luminous disc, orange-yellow in color, emitting a dazzling glow from the rear (better than a reflector).
FROM CHATEAUROUX. -- Two residents of Montlevic [sic] saw a flying saucer slowly moving through the sky above the woods of Bolaise.
About thirty kilometers away, in Saint-Plantaise [sic], other people reported seeing a luminous object the size of a football (since there are nighttime matches now, that's no surprise).
FROM SAINT-BRIEUC. -- Luminous globes were seen in the sky by two shopkeepers from Saint-Bihy, near Quintin (Côtes-du-Nord). Patrons of a nearby bar stepped outside to observe the same phenomenon (gossips say they saw even more).
FROM MONTARGIS. -- An employee of a business in Cholette [sic] claimed to have seen a luminous oval-shaped object moving at high altitude. Other people working in the vineyards also claimed to have seen a similar object (after football, now rugby).
