WASHINGTON, Jan 23 (UP) -- The Air Force described as "pure conjecture" today published reports that supersonic lights spotted over Japan by United states airmen were caused by Russian guided missiles experiments in Korea and Manchuria.
A spokesman said there was nothing in preliminary reports to indicate that the "flying saucers" were any different from those reported from time to time in the last six years over the United States.
