LA ROCHELLE. November 21, 1953. -- An inhabitant of Dompierre-en-Mer, Mr René Train, claims to have seen in the sky at 5.000 meters of altitude a white ball, 60 centimetres in diameter, surrounded of sparks. He estimates that the speed of the machine, visible during ten seconds, was that of a jet.
Note: it is difficult not to think it was just a meteor.
