The article below was published in the daily newspaper Nouvel Alsacien, France, page 12, on October 19, 1954.
From Ohlungen, it is communicated to us that a flying saucer was seen above the town by a W. J. that reportedly moved at about 2000 m altitude. He gives the following details: it was heading from east to west and was dark red. Seen from the ground it was approximately 15 cm in diameter, and it was dragging a tail long of about 1.5 m. From time to time were noticed sparks coming out of the luminous ball.
