West Hoathly, England, Oct. 4 (AP) -- Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, 73, says he believes there are flying saucers from other planets, though he has never seen one.
The wartime boss of the British Royal Air Force fighter command, a prominent spiritualist declared in a lecture Sunday "the evidence is overwhelming."
He added, however, he doesn't expect flying saucers operators to land and tell their secrets to earthmen "until we have learned better manners."
