Cuxhaven, July 10. -- The residents of the island of Sylt, in the North Sea, were deeply moved by the appearance of a flying saucer in their sky.
The flying saucer, which came from the south, appeared to them as a glowing red disc trailing a comet-like tail.
The entire phenomenon stood out clearly against a backdrop of dark clouds and moved "like an arrow" in various directions. After fifteen minutes, the object suddenly disappeared toward the northeast.
The appearance of the "saucer" only reinforces the opinion of German scientific observers, who believe that flying saucers are most likely balls of lightning, a phenomenon whose formation remains unexplained.
