Many mysterious machines were seen in the sky of Italy. One of these machines landed close to Rovigo, in the zone known as Po di Gnocca, where several people observed it. The apparatus of circular form, after having slowly hovered, landed on the ground without noise. After a few minutes of immobility, it resumed at the vertical its silent flight, but at the place from where it took off, there is now a rather deep crater, six meters in diameter. Six poplars which grew in the neighbourhoods moreover were carbonized. The authorities will go on the spot to check the authenticity of the witnesses report.
In the area of Modane, a tradesman saw an incandescent "flying cigar flying over the countryside at two hundred meters of altitude approximately. After a short stop, the craft reportedly moved towards the North-West. This observation was confirmed by other witnesses.
Lastly, a flying saucer with silver reflections reportedly flew over the zone of Luino at 5.000 meters. The witnesses of this observation stated that the "saucer" did not emit any noise and let escape no smoke. It disappeared in direction of Switzerland.
