Melbourne (A.C.P.)
The newspapers of Melbourne were flooded of phone calls requesting information on a "flying poached egg" seen by many people.
One of them said: "the thing resembled a gigantic poached egg. The yellow core of the machine was surrounded of white."
From such a laconic article, it is not possible to put out an assured explanation; however, the brief elements are typical of observation of balloons at high altitude, with their reflections of the setting sun.
