ABOUT A METEOR
The "flying saucer" that as of Sunday evening our correspondent in
Nantua reported to us, also appeared at the same hour (08:30 p.m. approximately)
in the sky of Savoy, of the Haute-Savoie, of the Drôme, of the Ardeche, and even
of the Rhone. It was probably also visible in other departments of the South-East.
According to information received yesterday, of all the area, the
meteor, since it should be called by its name, gave the impression of
a large shooting star. After the extinction of the gleam, a cloudy
trail remained during nearly a quarter of hour.
Is it necessary to add that this atmospheric phenomenon has
absolutely nothing in common with the "flying saucers" seen [...]
