MONTFAVET. -- Monday evening around 22:30 p.m., several residents of Montfavet saw a luminous disc of an emerald green color cross the sky in the south-east to north-east, followed by a plume of smoke.
This vision, which lasted only a few seconds, looked very close, but no one was able to give an estimate of the distance. A few hundred meters, it seemed.
Already, three years ago, similar luminous projectiles had been seen in the sky of Montfavet, a suburb near Avignon.
Note: the description obviously matches a meteor.
