FRANKFURT. -- Two "flying saucers" were reportedly seen by an engineer of the telecoms between Frankfurt and Darmstadt, near the Rhein-Hand airport.
The witness, who travelled on board a bus, had lowered the window pane beside his seat, when he suddenly saw, in a cloudless sky, two shining discs which went down almost vertically towards the ground at an extraordinary speed. Arrived at a certain distance from the ground, the machines took again height quickly wolloing a parabola. In all, the "saucers" were reportedly visible for ten seconds.
Another traveller of the bus stated to have also seen the machines. However, the radar station of the American forces did not detect any strange presence of machines in the sky. The engineer of the telecoms affirmed that it could not hav been jet fighter planes or other known apparatuses.
