Recently, the presence of mysterious flying discs has been observed in the skies over the United States.
Several scientists, advocates of a "serious investigation," including Mr. Urey, a physicist from the University of Chicago, have stated that there is no connection between the existence of these "saucers" and experiments on atomic reactors.
Furthermore, reports from Portland indicate that U.S. military aircraft are on standby in the northwest region of the USA, ready to take flight in an attempt to photograph the mysterious flying objects using Cameras equipped with telescopic lenses.
Reports from St. Marie (Idahos [sic]) suggest that eight "flying saucers" may have landed on the side of a mountain, ten kilometers from St. Marie. This claim has not yet been officially confirmed.
A military team has been sent to investigate. According to several residents, these "saucers" are the size of a five-room house and traverse the sky at an extremely high speed.
