The president of the Federation of rural craftsmen of the Saône-et-Loire
SHOOTS AT A FLYING SAUCER

He brings down a piece of metal that has been sent to a laboratory

LE DONJON (Allier). -- On Sunday evening, around 6:30 p.m., in Poupetières, a commune of Le Donjon, six hunters, Mr. Paul Bornet, an industrialist from Digoin; Dr. Pierre Coni from Vichy; Claude Jonard, manager at Le Donjon; Louis Cothenet, president of the Federation of rural craftsmen of the Saône-et-Loire, residing in Toulon-sur-Arroux; Mr. Pic, tax collector at Le Donjon; and Mr. Pax Tourtière from Cusset, were surprised to see at the edge of the Borde forest a luminous disk about fifteen meters in diameter, glowing a reddish-yellow color.

Mr. Cothenet and Mr. Coni, who were the closest, had the presence of mind to fire four shots at the object, which then disappeared very slowly in the direction of Digoin.

Mr. Cothenet recovered a piece of shiny metal from the site, the nature of which has not yet been identified. The piece has been sent to the PB axles laboratory for analysis.
