ON DECEMBER 19, 2001, a couple from Leuze (Eghezée) noticed a luminous circle forming in the night sky. Moments later, a glowing stone weighing around sixty grams fell onto the sidewalk, right in front of their home.
Since then, investigators from Sopep (the Belgian Society for the Study of Space Phenomena) and scientists have taken some time to analyze the testimonies and this stone that fell from the sky.
Auguste Meessen, emeritus professor at the Faculty of Sciences of UCL, has just released his report. This retired scientist has been interested in UFOs and, more broadly, the "extraterrestrial" question for over thirty years.
Regarding the Leuze stone, Auguste Meessen dismisses the meteorite theory but favors an explanation that is as original as it is intriguing. The former university professor links it to similar phenomena observed around the world. Each time, unidentified flying objects have seemingly sought to attract attention. Each time, they have left behind a glowing material with unusual properties. "As if they wanted to test our reactions," comments Auguste Meessen. A theory that will not go without... a reaction.
