Saturday morning, a little after 9 a.m., many witnesses said they saw a "flying saucer" in the sky.
It is especially towards the Rond-Point des Fontinettes that the testimonies are located.
Mr. Jean Pinault, butcher, Bd Pasteur; Mr. Norbert, hairdresser, his neighbor, are formal.
According to them, the craft of ovoid shape, with metallic reflections, came from the direction of the East and went towards the West - North - West, passing above the Bellier chimney.
Another witness claims that the disc was spinning silently like a top or... the merry-go-round "La Chenille" at the fairground.
The exterior of the craft seemed luminous and it was reportedly crossed in its middle, by a red bar.
A journalist tried not to lose sight of it and drove in his car to the Pont Jourdan.
There, in front of a mass of curious people gathered in the street, the "saucer" disappeared into the distance.
Finally, Calais no longer stood out with other communes in France... more favored... Its sky was crossed by a mysterious apparatus.
