People worthy of faith claim that while walking Sunday evening around 6 p.m. in Metz, they have seen in the sky a very luminous circular machine which moved in space at a rather large speed.
Questioned, one of these people stated that it was a disc, rather gilded than silvery: "so far I was completely skeptical with regard to the flying saucers. I believed in a psychosis, but this time I saw one of them myself. The diameter is about that of the sun. The craft passed above the Fort of Saint-Quentin and fell into the coppices. There wasa white smoke and then nothing anymore. I am unaware of what it is, but it would be interesting to make a search in order to find these traces, if there are traces?"
