North-Day (Ontario). -- Airman Henri Durcle stated that Monday morning, little before sunset, he saw "a big incandescent ball" motionless a few meters above a telegraph pole of the North-Day air base.
"The object, he said, had a circular shape in its higher part and it comprised in its lower part a rectangular box. Dazzling sparks like lightning left in all directions from the mysterious ball. "
Three other airmen corroborated Henri Durcle's statements.
(Was it a coronal discharge?)
