SAUCERS (continued)

LISIEUX, October 10 (A.F.P.).

Several people were running across the fields at Moyeux, toward a flying saucer surrounded by white and black smoke, which had been reported to them by a child.

A farmer, Mr. Filate, was watching the sky without looking away; he fell into a deep pond where he nearly drowned.

TERRORIZED BY A MYSTERIOUS CRAFT that rose vertically in front of him, Mr. Meunier, a construction foreman at Pont-l’Abbé-d’Arnoux (Charente-Maritime), declared that "even during the war he had never been so frightened."

A FLASHING REDDISH DISK was observed at La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, Noyen-sur-Sarthe, Cherré, and La Ferté-Bernard (Sarthe).

AN OVOID CRAFT WITH A WHITE DOME was discovered on the roadside by Mr. Jean Augard and Mr. Jean Chanzotte at Sisternes-la-Forêt (Puy-de-Dôme). It suddenly took off as they approached.

Capri: a flying disk carrying four beings lands on the roof of a villa

ROME, October 19 (dispatch "France-Soir").

A flying disk, carrying four interplanetary passengers, landed in Capri on the roof of the villa belonging to writer Curzio Malaparte. An abstract painter, Mr. Castello, a friend of Malaparte (who was not in Capri at the time), witnessed the scene and gave a detailed account in front of amazed Capri residents.

Castello was walking near the villa at night when he suddenly saw a large craft silently land on the roof of the house, which forms a wide terrace where a helicopter could easily land. The painter watched in astonishment as four beings emerged from the inside of the flying disk, which was about two meters in height and the same in diameter. The passengers were slightly shorter than humans and wore some kind of uniform.
