A LUMINOUS DISC, THE OTHER NIGHT, IN PARIS

The photo we reproduce above was taken the other night by an engineer, Mr. Paul P..., residing on boulevard Lefebvre in Paris. It was 3:45 a.m. when Mr. P... noticed in the sky, at an indeterminate distance and height, a disc emitting a bluish phosphorescent glow.

It seemed to him that the luminous disc was stationary in the sky between the Eiffel Tower and the Exhibition Park. The engineer had the time and, most importantly, the presence of mind to ready his camera.

Having opened the lens to the maximum, F-3.5, he exposed for nearly 2 minutes. During this time, the disc, as can be observed in the photo, moved towards the right. There, it remained motionless for a few moments.

At the Observatory, we were told yesterday that they had nothing to report regarding the phenomenon observed by the engineer.

Is it a mysterious craft? Is it the reflection of the Eiffel Tower's headlights seen in the background? No one is able to answer these questions. But the document was worth publishing, even if its explanation remains impossible.
