At least that's what seven people from the Sydney area claim
SYDNEY. -- Seven people reported having seen a "flying saucer" yesterday above the Sydney region and over Parkes, a town located about 300 kilometers from Sydney.
They said the object was "cigar-shaped, very bright, and flying at high speed."
A radio announcer in Parkes stated that he saw a "saucer" at 6 a.m. over the town at an altitude of around 1,200 meters, "flying silently at a speed of 700 kilometers per hour."
Flying saucers were last reported over Sydney in December 1950. Mysterious aerial craft have also been reported over Queensland, in the south of the country, and over Canberra.
