Washington, Aug. 3 -- U.S. Air Force Headquarters reported that an "unknown metallic object" was sighted Tuesday over the atomic plants at Los Alamos, New Mexico.
The source said two fighter pilots sent in pursuit returned without seeing anything, but a ground observer said the object circled around and came to rest behind the fighters to avoid being seen.
