A "Saucer" lands in the Vienne

Poitiers, October 8. -- On Friday morning at 4:15 a.m., Mr. Edouard Thebault, 36 years old, a farmer in La Montagne, commune of Béruges (the Vienne), was in bed. Having been awake for some time, he saw the sky illuminated through his bedroom window and initially thought it was moonlight but then remembered that the moon was currently setting around midnight. He got up and then saw in the sky, about forty meters away, a glowing object roughly shaped like a large mushroom.

A few seconds later, this strange craft, which he saw land on the road, went dark, while a massive spotlight equipped with antennas all around swept the surroundings.

Mr. Thébault ran to wake up his father, but by the time they returned, everything had disappeared.
