Recently, in La Couy (Lignères road, about ten kilometers from Saint-Amand), a former cafe owner, Mr. Soulat, while leading his hunting dog to the kennel, saw "a luminous cigar" moving horizontally across the sky. This cigar, at its base, projected, according to Mr. Soulat, a bright glow.
Having called Mrs. Soulat, she was able to observe the craft. After a few minutes, it disappeared.
It was around 8:45 p.m.
The craft, according to the Soulats, was shaped like a sugar loaf.
