The details of the case are spread across different sources that are not always complete. Overall, the report is as follow:
On April 18, 1978, or March 18, 1978, shortly after 9 p.m. or at 08:40 p.m. - depending on the source - Wojciech Godziszewski was driving his Fiat 126 car with his wife - one source says with two passengers - near Stolec.
They noticed on the horizon a "strange looking" orange ball of light that emitted a very strong light. Godziszewski stopped the car to watch the phenomenon. After about 4 minutes, a smaller yellow ball of light emerged from the orange sphere, moved slowly toward the ground at a 45° angle. After about 2 minutes, another identical ball of yellow light emerged and executed the same maneuver as the previous one. Soon they noticed another orange ball of light hovering somewhere on the village of Dobieszyce and Swidwie Lake.
The witnesses then headed towards Swidwie Lake through a forest road, and arrived on the other side of Stolec, as it was hoped for, the orange sphere was still there.
He was driving to make a closer observation, when around 500 meters before the area where the "UFOs" hovered, he noticed a strange being about 1 meter tall hovering motionless above the centre of the asphalt road.
The being was wearing a dark-brown, tight, one-piece costume, in the color and consistency "resembling the fur of a seal" or a thick diver's wet-suit. The outfit ended with a hood that tightly surrounded the whole head, showing only a small fragment of white face with large, round, seal-like eyes. The being also wore a white belt, 10 cm wide approximately, which glowed with a kind of phosphorescent light. The same type of glow was emitted from under its feet. On the back the being carried a kind of a backpack, a square hump of the volume of about two bricks.
The being was hovering in a slanted position of body that resembled that of a "sitting dog". The legs and hands were spread, slanted about 45° in relation to the body. The head was lifted so that the being was looking towards the approaching car.
When the car came at a distance of about 50 meters, the being turned back and rapidly accelerated maintaining a constant distance of abound 50 meters with the car. During the flight it very slowly fidgeted with its legs and hands as if it tried to balance its motion.
Godziszewski accelerated in order to come closer and to have a better look at the extraordinary being. However, after pushing the accelerator to the floor and achieving the highest speed his small Fiat could maintain, the being still maintained the same distance of about 50 meters. Through about 200 meters on the road through the forest, "this unusual couple was moving: an alien flying in the air, and a small Fiat chasing it at full speed."
Suddenly the being turned right into a perpendicular forestry road, changing direction in a sudden 90° angle still at full speed. The car, driving at 120 km per hour, was not so manoeuvrable, and it took quite a distance to loose the speed, back towards the entry to the forestry road and turn into it.
In a different version the witness is quoted: "Suddenly it went strongly off the side of the road and disappeared in the wood. It left so suddenly that I stopped the car from 30 to 90 m further to return to the place where the being ran into the woods. There was a broad way, on which I tried to run, but after having run about 15 meters, I was forced to stop because my wife and I felt a paralysing fear. It was a strange feeling, as if we were paralyzed, and during approximately two minutes we could not move. Then the anxiety slowly disappeared, I quickly went back to the car, left the forest and drove towards Stolec."
Which is contradicted in another version: "The being was not seen. However, around 15 meters after entering this forestry road the car was saturated with the feeling of terror and paralysis, perceived as if these were sent by some telepathic means. This terror and paralysis made it impossible to further pursue the road and forced Godziszewski to hastily return home."
The other version tells that after having driven on approximately 4 km, Godziszewski and his wife both felt strange again. He slowed down to 40 km per hour, and on their left side the large orange ball was still on the road.
Little time later a yellow ball came from the orange sphere towards the car. The car accelerated, but the ball followed at the same pace, on a total of 5 km. Arrived in Stolec, they felt safe, stopped the car. The ball also stopped and hovered perfectly motionless in the air. They again started the car, but this time the ball did not follow them, it remained hovering at the same place.
Local people allegedly also saw the light or lights.
One of the sources says Wojciech Godziszewski was a "healer", and during his healing sessions he sometimes induced a visible glow upon the subject's temple.

The author says that on April 18, 1978, in Stolec in Poland, Wojciech G. was driving along the road which passes by the forest to go towards Swidwie lake where, on the other side of Stolec, as it was hoped for, the orange sphere was still there.
"At the same time, and approximately 50 m ahead of the car," said Wojciech G. later, "we noticed a strange creature, when she saw our car she started to flee. I undoubtedly drove at approximately 110 km per hour, but this creature ran so fast that the distance between us increased. In this manner, we drove on approximately 500 m. Suddenly it went strongly off the side of the road and disappeared in the wood. It left so suddenly that I stopped the car from 30 to 90 m further to return to the place where the being ran into the woods. There was a broad way, on which I tried to run, but after having run about 15 meters, I was forced to stop because my wife and I felt a paralysing fear. It was a strange feeling, as if we were paralysed, and during approximately two minutes we could not move. Then the anxiety slowly disappeared, I quickly went back to the car, left the forest and drove towards Stolec."
After having driven on approximately 4 km they both again the felt strange. Wojciech G. slowed down to 40 km per hour, and on their left side there was still the large orange ball on the road.
Little time later a yellow ball came from the orange sphere towards the car. The car accelerated, but the ball followed at the same pace, on a total of 5 km. Mr. and Mrs. G felt safe in the city, therefore they stopped the car. The ball stopped also and remained suspended perfectly motionless in the air. They again started the car, but this time the ball did not follow them, it remained hovering at the same place.

An excellent observation of a flying UFOnaut was made by Wojciech Godziszewski (ul. Szczeci_ska 2c, 72-003 Dobra Szczeci_ska, Poland). He later showed the author the place of his experience and explained details. Here is his description of what he saw. On 18 March 1978 shortly after 9 pm, he was driving his Fiat 126 car. His wife was a passenger. He spotted four spheres glowing with orange and yellow lights (i.e. time vehicles) as they manoeuvred above the forest about 3 kilometers behind the village Solec. Without a second thought he turned his car and speeded up to make a closer observation. Around 500 metres before the area where these UFOs hovered he noted a strange alien about 1 metre tall as it hovered motionlessly above the centre of the asphalt road. The alien was wearing a dark-brown, tight, one-piece costume, in the colour and consistency resembling the fur of a seal or a thick wet-suit of divers. The costume ended with a hood that tightly surrounded the whole head showing only a small fragment of white face with large, round, seal-like eyes. The being also wore a white belt around 10 cm wide which glowed with a kind of phosphoric light. The same type of glow was emitted from under its feet. On the back it carried a kind of a backpack, i.e. a square hump of the volume of about two bricks. The being was hovering at the height of around a half of meter above the level of asphalt, oriented in a slanted position of body that resembled that of a "sitting dog". The legs and hands were spread, slanted about 45? in relation to the body. The head was lifted so that the being was looking towards the approaching car. When the car came at a distance of about 50 metres, the alien turned back and rapidly accelerated maintaining a constant distance of around 50 metres. During the flight it very slowly fidgeted with its legs and hands as if it tried to balance its motion. Godziszewski accelerated in order to come closer and to have a better look at this extraordinary being. However, after pushing the accelerator to the floor and achieving the highest speed his small Fiat could maintain, the alien still maintained the same distance of about 50 metres. Thus, through around half a kilometre of a lone road through a forest, this unusual couple was moving: an alien flying in the air, and a small Fiat chasing it at full speed. Rapidly the alien turned right into a perpendicular forestry road. It changed its direction at 90? angle without a benefit of any radius, while still maintaining its full speed. Of course the Fiat was not so manoeuvrable. It took quite a distance to loose the speed (at that moment estimated by Godziszewski at about 120 km/h). Thus, after the car backed towards the entry to this forestry road and turned into it, the alien was gone. However, around 15 meters after entering this forestry road the car was saturated with the feeling of terror and paralysis, perceived as if these were sent by some telepathic means. This terror and paralysis made it impossible to further pursue the road and forced Godziszewski to hastily return home. |

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Stolec, Poland, on April 18, 1978, at 20:40, Wojciech Godziszewski and two passengers were traveling by car in this area the Polish German border when they noticed in the horizon a strange looking orange ball of light that emitted a very strong light. Wojciech stopped the car to watch the phenomena. After about 4 minutes a smaller yellow ball of light emerged from the orange sphere. It moved slowly toward the ground at a 45-degree angle. After about 2 minutes another identical ball of yellow light emerged and executed the same maneuver as the previous one. Soon they noticed another orange ball of light hovering somewhere the village of Dobieszyce and Swidwie Lake. The witnesses then headed towards the village through a forest road when suddenly they noticed a strange creature standing about 50 meters from the car. They described the creature as about 1.2-1.5 meters in height, with large pointed ears, and covered with long gray hair. Seeing the car, the creature turned around and started to run away. The witness accelerated his vehicle in order to catch up, but incredibly he could not keep up with the creature, which moved very quickly. The speeds of the car reach a speed of 110km per hour and they still could not approach the creature. The creature suddenly turned into the forest and disappeared among the trees. Godziszewski began to chase the creature on foot, but he was suddenly overcome by a feeling of dread and fear. After 2 minutes he returned to the car and drove back to Stolec on his way there he saw another orange ball of light hovering over the village of Buk, other residents there also saw the hovering light.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Robert K Lesniakiewicz."

The source indication is a broken link.
The strangeness of the report is beyond question. But the issue is credibility.
In addition to the List of issues below, I found an intriguing paragraph by Jan Pajak, one of the sources in this file. In a text titled "Device fo the Telekinetic Extraction of Energy from the Environment", - a 1993 text with claims of the "free energy" kind - he wrote this:
"In cases of extremely intensive action of the Telekinetic Effect, the extraction glow is so strong that it can be seen by the naked eye. A Polish healer, Wojciech Godziszewski (ul. Szczecinska 2 C, 72-003 Dobra Szczecinska, Poland), during his healing sessions sometimes induces such a glow clerly [sic] visible upon the subject's temple."
So the alleged main witness of this case is not an "ordinary folk" but allegedly a "healer" and quite bold "paranormal" claims are made.
This, in my opinion, does not support the credibility of the report. A thorough investigation about the witness should have been performed, to check whether it is someone used to claiming a lot of stuff, including a paranormal effect he allegedly performs at will, thus a rather easy to check claim.
