In 1999, US ufologist Jan Aldrich indicated in that on August 26, 1947, at 00:30 local time, in Sweden, 10 kilometers in the South-west of "Fkenberg" - certainly "Falkenberg", a DC-3 postal plane pilot and co-pilot was an object like a green parallelogram for 8 to 10 seconds.
Aldrich indicated that this came from a report in the Swedish Defense Archives, according to Swedish ufologist Anders Liljegren.

The DC-3 is the civilian airline version of the famous Douglas C-47 "Skytrain" military transport plane. The photo below is a United Airlines DC-3 - some are still flying in airshows in the 2000's.

The DC-3 has a cruising speed of 207 mph (333 km/h), a capacity of 21 to 32 passengers or 6,000 lb (2,700 kg) of cargo, and a range of 1,500 miles (2,400 km); it can operate from short runways.
There is no "Fkenberg" in Sweden as far as I could verify; but there is a Falkenberg, a locality and the seat of Falkenberg Municipality, Halland County.

Anders Liljegren is a Swedish ufologist born in 1950, principal manager and executive at the Swedish "Archives for UFO Research" (AFU).
For lack of the primary source, I can only remain with the fact that the information available to me is insufficient; which for example does not allow me to rule out an explanation by a meteor.
