ACUFO is my comprehensive catalog of cases of encounters between aircraft and UFOs, whether they are “explained” or “unexplained”.

The ACUFO catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file.

Aircraft information:

The U.S. B-17 “Flying Fortress” was a heavy bomber fitted with five 7.62 machine guns for its defense against enemy fighter planes.

Discussion:

Over the image, we see: “presenzaliena.it”

This would be an Italian “presence of the aliens” Website. This Website existed from 2001 until around 2003, and had a page www.presenzaliena.it/fooe.html

One really needs “unshakeable faith” to publish this image as showing “Luminous balls photographed in Italy in 1945.”

First of all, I don't see any “luminous balls” in the image.

Next, the marking “presenzaliena.it” does nothing for the credibility of the image; which could have appeared on this Website, originally, as a simple photo of B-17, for illustration purpose.

Finally, I found absolutely no other information than the above on this image.
