In a general catalog of sighting reports of the Gironde written by the Bordeaux section of the C.F.R.U., published in the ufology magazine Ouranos in the fourth quarter of 1973, it is said that according to the Sud-Ouest newspaper for October 20, 1954, the following observation occurred:
Before that October 20, 1954, therefore, at 7 p.m., in Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, one Miss Bordenave was on a bicycle near the Malagar castle, and saw a green glow, then a disk "turning at a brisk pace" and heading west.
Miss Bordenave was impressed and made a fall.
