At the end of the 1950s, a French archivist, Guy Quincy, interested in the question of the "mysterious celestial objects", had compiled an observations catalog, in which he had noted, without giving either source or details, that there may have been on October 6, 1954, a case of a "luminous circle photographed?", in Paris.
