Summary:

The ufology magazine Ouranos #15, of the 3rd quarter of 1955 listed "Louroux Hodemont (Allier)" as the place of an observation in 1954.

A catalog of the observations of 1954 in the department of Allier in France by the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit #128 of October 1973, indicates that according to the newspaper La Montagne for November 8, 1954, on November 5, 1954 at 8:40 p.m. in Louroux-Hodement, Mr. Dagois, postman, "saw a large luminous sphere, launching a shower of sparks which could extend over several kilometers. S-N trajectory."

On a map of the sightings in the Allier departement in 1954, there is a note for "Louroux-Hodement 5 nov".

The case is mentioned as "probably the same object as in Louroux-Hodemont" in the note of the case of November 5, 1954, in Moulins.

Mr. Dagois, postman, saw a large luminous sphere, launching a shower of sparks which could extend for several kilometers. S-N trajectory.

The website indicates that on 5 November 1954 at 20:50 in Loudrox-Hodement [sic], France, "Big luminous ball of light south rapidly to the north, leaves sparks. Possible bolide(?). Explanation: Bolide. A fireball was observed. One fireball was observed in a town for over one minute."

The source is noted "Hatch, Larry, *U* computer database, Author, Redwood City, 2002".

The information is totally insufficient, but entirely compatible with the passage of a meteor which had taken place that day at that time over this region among others.
