In the 1990s, ufologist and author Jean Sider discovered an article of October 23, 1954, on page 3 of the newspaper La Chronique Républicaine, of Fougères, saying according to him that on October 18, 1954, at night, at Louvigné-du-Désert in the Ille-et-Vilaine, a schoolboy who remained anonymous and was returning from the evening study, who arrived at the height of the hamlet of La Salmonière, suddenly saw a little being with an odd face. He was very scared.
Reportedly, the creature entered his craft; which was lying in a ditch, apparently, then the machine rose at a tremendous pace.
The case had been listed by Michel Figuet in his Francat catalogue in 1985; but he gave no detail.

The author indicates that there was a CE3 case in Louvigné-of-Desert, in the Ille-et-Vilaine, om October 18, 1954, at fallen night.
An anonymous schoolboy returning from the evening studies, arrived at the height of the hamlet of La Salmonière, suddenly saw a small being with a funny face which frightened him enormously. The creature reinstated its machine which was lying in a ditch apparently then the machine rose at a vertiginous pace.
The sources are indicated as "La Chronique Républicaine (Fougères) for October 23, 1954; Jean Sider, "Le dossier 1954 et l'imposture rationaliste", page 209.
Without the exact text of the primary source, without any sign of any investigation or verification, and with such a meager description, by a child, there is little guarantee that this was really an encounter with an extraterrestrial visior and his craft.
