A newspaper announces that a "UFO has flown over the city" of Avesnes sur Helpe, France:

On March 31, 2017, the day before April 1st, the website of the newspaper L'Observateur de l'Avesnois published a very doubious saucer photo and an equally doubtful narrative saying:

"On Tuesday afternoon, an Unidentified Flying Object was observed for several minutes, spherical in shape (), flying over the collegiate church before disappearing abruptly, and the testimonies are stunning, even terrifying. The imagination of some passers-by or a real reality."

(*) On the "photo", the so-called UFO is not spherical at all, looking like a "classic saucer".

Object rose up from underwater in the Gulf of Mexico, USA:

A witness, chief engineer aboard an Offshore Supply Vessel, reported to NUFORC (ufocenter.com) on March 23, 2017 that he saw an oval-shaped object about 1,200 feet long rising up out of the water at about 40 feet, and then disappear at an incredible rate of speed into the sky,on March 21, 2017, 80 miles southeast of New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico.

He said: "Close to 7 p.m. on March 21st, just before dusk, myself and four of the crew members aboard our vessel saw a craft that appeared to be five times our 240-foot vessel in length. My line of sight was about one-quarter mile from our vessel. There was a rig behind the craft about a half-mile. I used this to help gauge the size of the craft. Sighting was approximately 80 miles southeast of New Orleans, Louisiana."

"The scene lasted about 40 seconds. The craft rose up out of the water (Gulf of Mexico) about 40 feet, with no water was dripping from the craft. Within a split second the craft disappeared at a 30-degree angle into the sky. Speed appeared to be faster than the speed of a light turning on in a room. Within seconds it had disappeared completely. I can say for sure that the craft was dark colored, oval in shape and made no sound whatsoever."

Flying boomerang in Alexandria, Virgina, USA:

A Virginia witness at Alexandria, Virginia, USA, reported to MUFON that sitting outside his apartment deck smoking a cigar at 8:30 p.m. on March 19, 2017, he observed a large boomerang-shaped object with five large circle-shaped lights underneath crossing the sky silently over 500 feet, but under the cloud cover.

Observation from Ekaterinburg, Russia:

According to the Russian agency AIF-Ural, a UFO was reportedly spotted on March 19, 2017, in the evening, by residents of Ekaterinburg, in the sky above the city.

A strange object hovered above the railway area of the Urals capital. It consisted of four lights standing in an arc of a circle.

According to a witness named Dennis, it was a "giant flying saucer" of "the size of 10 soccer fields, if one traced the line between the lights."

"UFO filmed" in Rouen, France:

UFO websites mention that a "UFO" was filmed in Rouen, France, on March 10, 2017.

This is based on the fact that someone posted the "UFO video" on Youtube. But it was then withdrawn.

It often happens that people who are puzzled by a phenomenon they filmed, post the video on Youtube, then comments or relations tell them what it was (Chinese lantern for example), and the Youtuber quickly withdraws the video for fear of scoffing.

Observation in the Liège province, Belgium:

On March 15, 2017, someone posted a video on Youtube with the following text. Several "UFO" sites have reported this.

"Hello,
Nocturnal observation of March 09, 2017 at 07:50 p.m. in the province of liège, by chance watching the sky cloudy enough to still make parts of sky visible, I could see an armada of luminous points moving in the opposite direction of clouds, First I believed in an optical effect caused by the effects of clouds and stars. Chinese lamps and balloons, etc ... excluded since the opposite direction of the wind. Object flying direction East towards West while the wind West towards East."

"It 's up to you to judge and appreciate and think that you optical effects or not ??????"

"Any comments or opinions are welcome. See you soon."

"Ps: at one moment one sees the moon, do not confuse."

Unfortunately, the video was subsequently made private; which will not allow us to check if they were Chinese lanterns.

The winds do not necessarily follow the same direction at lanterns and clouds altitudes.

Observation in Saint-Leu, La Réunion, France:

Shortly before 7 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2017, Patrice Huet "Scientific Director of the volcano city, astronomy buff," did, towards Saint-Leu, mechanically cast a glance towards the sky a few minutes after sunset, when his gaze and that of his mate were attracted by "a luminous spot on the sea in a west-south-westerly direction and about 10 or 15° above the horizon."

He thought he identified Mercury, (which is impossible) but then saw two other luminous spots more or less aligned below. He decided to stop, but by time he parked the car there was only one spot left. He took a few pictures but the time to go back to the car to take a more suitable objective, there was nothing anymore of the phenomenon (or phenomena) that "seemed to move with vertical and horizontal components to the right."

The website publishes edited pictures; the one appearing to be the mosst "zoomed on" looks completely like a plane followed by the drag caused by two of its jet engines, lit in orange color by the setting sun.

ISS UFOs again:

"A spectacularly-sized UFO that NASA clumsily attempted to censor or light reflection on the camera lens? The images of the last live broadcast of the ISS leave no one indifferent."

... appears on https://francais.rt.com/international/34939-vaisseau-mere-filme-direct-station-spatiale-internationale-video

The article tells oof the opinions of a "youtuber" who would have put "Internet" "upside-down" with yet another video showing a totally unfathomable thing appeared on the cameras of the International Space Station.

It seems that "a good part of the 140,000 web surfers who saw it qualify the object as a gigantic cylindrical UFO." They talk of "mothership" etc.

In reality, talking about the "size" of these things on these cameras is ridiculous: there is no size to deduce from these images; no reason either to claim it is a "mothership", expression made up to evoke a "big" UFO that would let go or recover smaller ones; which is not the case here.

These little things on such images can have many prosaic explanations: reflections in the windows, reflections in the camera lenses, space junk, for example.

A so-called "UFO" in the sky of Tasmania:

"An enormous fireball was spotted in Tasmania's sky, nurturing conspiracy theories and speculation."

"The government's explanations that the mysterious fireball would in fact be an army aircraft were not enough to convince witnesses of the phenomenon, who shout at the UFO."

"On the Internet, dozens of photographs showing the unidentified object falling from the sky are accompanied by commentaries: 'it is not a plane, wake up... Planes do not leave flames behind them', someone wrote."

https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/34525601/mysterious-fireball-over-tasmania-sends-ufo-believers-into-overdrive/#page1

True, the planes do not really leave "flames behind them", at least not such as these. But they sometimes leave condensation trails, and these take the color of the flames when the setting sun illuminates them....

UFOs filmed over Aktau, Kazakhstan:

On March 2, 2017, the 365info website in Kazakhstan reported:

"YouTube and Mangistau media have been eyewitnesses of video and photos of strange objects in the sky above Aktau."

"According to the words of the author of the photos, they were taken in the second district of Aktau at about 08:00 p.m. on March 1. The object hit the camera lens accidentally when the eyewitness tried to photograph the night sky."

"The same object, apparently, was captured on video. Are they visitors from space ships or something of earthly origin - judge for yourself."

See: https://365info.kz/2017/03/nlo-zasnyali-nad-aktau/

Are these Chinese lanterns, or streetlights reflections?
