CASE #10. - January 16, 1955.- MERCEDES. - DEPARTMENT OF SORIANO. MERCEDES. - (ANI). - Yesterday evening again, Unidentified Flying Objects were seen furrowing the sky of Mercedes, coming from the south-western direction to the north-west direction, at 9 p.m. approximately. This is what stated neighbors of this city, Mr. A. Badín, his fiancee and many members of the family of the latter, who observed a round object, rather large, of great luminosity and leaving a green-bluish wake, going fast. In addition, the police force informed that neighbors of the Sub-Novena Section, having residence in Cañada Nieto, came forward yesterday evening to this Section, stating to have seen, moving in space, at a high speed, an object of spherical shape, of blue color, which left after itself a reddish wake. In their turn, in the locality of TALA (DEPARTMENT OF CANELONES), yesterday evening at 20 hours, an shining object of oval shape was also seen, which then moved horizontally, while rising at a high speed in space, leaving behind its passage a gray-bluish wake. The color of the object itself was yellowish and bluish, it remained visible one minute. [Note: The whole of these observations match a meteor.] CASE #11. - January 16, 1955. - FRAY BENTOS.- DEPARTMENT OF RIO NEGRO. (Probably the same UFO as that of the CASE #10.). FRAY BENTOS. - (ANI). - the local periodical "EL LITTORAL" informs that the employee of the A.N.C.A.P. Agency, Mr. Walter Seijas, told them that in the night of the 16, little after 9 p.m., he had seen crossing in direction of the south, an unidentified object. He described as going by at a fantastic speed, while detaching series of green and red lights. Other people still confirmed in their turn this observation. CASE #12. - January 16, 1955.- CARMELO.- DEPARTMENT OF COLONIA. (Same comment that for the CASE #11). CARMELO. - (ANI). - To the phenomenon observed the last 16th and which was noted by people of Mercedes, Tala, Fray Bentos, etc (with some minor differences, of hour especially), it is necessary to now add what several partners of the fishing club of Carmelo and the Director of the local newspaper "LA IDEA" are declaring, the latter being with the others on board the boat which is used at the headquarters of this Institution. These people claim to have observed this day, after 9 p.m., a strange aerial vehicle, of bluish luminosity and good size to the visual appreciation. It crossed this city in the west at a moderate speed since it allowed its total observation to last a few minutes. CASE #13. - February 18, 1955.- PUEBLO LIBERTAD. DEPARTEMENT OF SAN JOSE. -(Extracted from "EL PLATA"). Mr. Nelson López Díaz declared that at 01:30 of the 18th, he was called by his brother who told him of the presence of a strange object in space. The whole family then managed to attentively observe the object, which remained in sight during almost half an hour. Its form was circular, of regular size, intensely shining, illuminating the place on which it moved without the smallest noise. It was located in the direction of the coast of Rio of Plata and it moved with undulating movements from one side to another (like a bamboleo [?]). [Note: possibly an astronomical object, a star or planet.] |

CASO No 10. - 16 de enero de 1955.- MERCEDES. - DEP. SORIANO. MERCEDES. -(ANI).- De nuevo anoche fueron vistos Objetos Voladores Inidentificados surcar el cielo de Mercedes, procediendo de dirección sudoeste a noroeste, a las 21 horas aproximadamente. Esto es lo que manifestaron los vecinos de esta ciudad, Sr.A. Badín, su novia y numerosos familiares de ésta, quienes observaron un objeto redondo, bastante grande, de gran luminosidad y que dejaba una estela verde-azulada, a su veloz paso. Por otra parte, la policía informó que anoche, vecinos de la Seccional Sub-Novena, con asiento en Cañada Nieto, se presentaron a aquella Seccional, manifestando haber visto desplazarse en el espacio, a gran velocidad, un objeto de forma esférica, de color azul, que dejaba tras de sí una estela rojiza. A su vez, en la localidad del TALA (DEP. CANELONES) se vió también anoche a la hora 20, un objeto brillante, de forma oval, que se desplazó horizontalmente, elevándose luego a gran velocidad en el espacio, dejando a su paso una estela gris-azulada. El color del objeto en sí, era amarillento y azulado, permaneciendo visible unos minutos. CASO No 11. - 16 de enero de 1955. - FRAY BENTOS.- DEP. RIO NEGRO. (Presumiblemente el mismo OVI del CASO No 10.). FRAY BENTOS.-(ANI).- El periódico local "EL LITORAL" informa que el empleado de la Agencia A.N.C.A.P., Sr. Walter Seijas, les notificó que en la noche del día 16, poco después de la hora 21, había visto cruzar en dirección al sur, un objeto inidentificado. Lo describió como pasando a una velocidad fantástica, desprendiendo un centelleo de luces verdes y rojas. Otras personas más corroboraron, a su vez, esta observación. CASO No 12. - 16 de enero de 1955.- CARMELO.- DEP. COLONIA. (Igual consideración que para el caso No 11). CARMELO.-(ANI).- Al fenómeno observado el pasado día 16 y del cual tomaron conocimiento vecinos de Mercedes, Tala, Fray Bentos, etc. (con algunas leves diferencias, de hora sobre todo), hay que agregar ahora lo que manifiestan varios socios del club de pesca Carmelo y el Director del periódico local "LA IDEA", quien se encontraba con los mismos a bordo de la embarcación que oficia de sede de la Institución. Estas personas afirman haber observado ese día, pasadas las 21 horas, un extraño vehículo aéreo, de luminosidad azulada y de buen tamaño a la apreciación visual. Cruzó esta ciudad de este a oeste a una velocidad moderada ya que permitió su total observación por espacio de algunos minutos. CASO No 13. - 18 de febrero de 1955.- PUEBLO LIBERTAD. DEP. SAN JOSE. -(Extractado de "EL PLATA"). El Sr. Nelson López Díaz manifestó que siendo la hora 1 y 30 del día 18, fué llamado por su hermano para indicarle la presencia de un objeto extraño en el espacio. Toda la familia pudo, entonces, observar atentamente al objeto, que se mantuvo a la vista casi media hora. Su forma era circular, de regular tamaño, intenso brillo, iluminando el lugar por sobre el cual se desplazaba sin el menor ruido. Se hallaba situado en la dirección de la costa del Río de la Plata y se trasladaba con movimientos ondulantes de un lado al otro (como un bamboleo). |
