October 2, 1954, Cholet, Maine-et-Loire:

Reference number for this case: 2-Oct-54-Cholet. Thank you for including this reference number in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

Summary:

Newspapers of October 6, 1954, mentioned that there had been an observation in Cholet. No date was given, the other cases mentioned were of October 2nd or 3rd, 1954.

Without mentioning a source, ufologist Aimé Michel, later taken over by others, dated the case of October 2, 1954, and considered that it was "in straight libne" with other cases of that date in a manner that would not be due to mere chance.
