The report:

Subject: Mobile star
Date: March 29, 2007
From: [pseudonym]

I regularly consult your website, which I find the most objective of all those that I already visited.

You do not fear to ruin certain dreams. Which is not to the detriment of reality.

I live in Belgium, in the area of Mons, but on a « plate » higher of about fifty meters of the valley of the Haine.

As I am rather often in expectation of a discovery, when I go out in the morning, I look up.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 06:35, the sky was very clear and stars were well seen. I observed the advance of what resembled one of them. It crossed the sky from west to East to disappear at the horizon, without a noise, at a constant speed, very high in the sky. At a certain time, its trajectory moved towards that of a plane, of which I saw clearly the flashing lights, which marked a clear difference between the two objects. It did not modify its path. I had the impression that they were not in the same plan.

It was probably a satellite, enlightened below by the sun on the point to rise.

But, who knows, there could have been other observations?

Yours truly,

On March 29, 2007, like the witness, I indicated as explanation: "Not looked for. Probable satellite." On March 15, 2008, a reader consulted the Heavens Above website and found that at this same date, there was a passage of the International Space Station (ISS) from West to East on the north of France then Belgium between 06:31 and 06:39, thus at the same timeframe and same direction than those indicated by the witness.
