Subject: UFO sighting
Date: January 28, 2008
De: [Firstname] [Name] [email]@yahoo.fr

Hello,

please find below my testiomony of a sighting that occurred yesterday evening:

1) Name of the observer: [Name] [Firstname]

2) Date of observation + time: January 27, 2008 between 07:00 p.m. and 07:30 p.m., probablement around 07:15 p.m.

3) Exact place of observation (city, location, street , etc): Brest, rue du général Borgnis Desbordes

4) Sky condition (clear, cloudy, etc...): clear / no cloud

5) Apparent visible diameter ? If yes, what approximate size?: a little larger than the diameter of a star and a little smaller than planet mars

6) Orientation of the meteor (where it appeared, where it disappeared - cardinal points, or visual reference marks): I was looking at the planet mars which from my observation spot was high in the sky almost overhead in front of me towards the East (compared to my position), I saw the object in my direction of observation of the planet Mars, it moved towards the East. The trajectory of the object was West to East while passing very slightly in the North of mars. (10 degrees in the north of mars?)

7) Slope compared to the ground:

7b) Height of observation compared to the horizon: at the beginning of the observation the object was almost at the vertical

8) Duration of observation ( in seconds): between 3 and 5 seconds

9) Could you show the trajectory of the meteor on location? yes

10) Apparent luminosity: (compared to the Moon, stars, or lamps): between the luminosity of a star and that of mars

11) Observed colors, as well as the possible variations of colors at the time of the passage: yellow orange without variation

12) Visible trail? PErsistent trail? If yes, approx duration: no trail

13) Fragmentation observed? If yes, how many chunks: : no fragmentation

14) Apparent speed (slow, average or fast): very fast, the object crossed 45 degrees I think

15) Was a sound phenomenon heard? if so, which kind? No sound

16) interval of time between the luminous phenomenon and the sound phenomenon:

17) Was there an observation of the arrival on the ground of the meteor? Not, the object remained at a constant height, making a horizontal and rectilinear displacement without losing altitude

18) Contact, address or phone to contact you: [Phone number]

19) were there other people who observed this phenomenon with you? no

I specify that I ended up losing the object of sight, while moving away, it became less visible.

Regards,
[Firstname] [Name].
