Hello

I just found your webiste.

I am reading a book "Aliens, and why they are here" which revealed very interessting for me. This book wants to be objective, and is a story and catalogue of testimonys related to various observations(it incorporates all the theories and interpretatins of deniers etc). An encouraging point for me came out from my reading of this book (I am only at the beginning), it indicated that the "typical" witness often had several experiences and not only one, this encouraged me a little because it is hard enought to be taken with seriously with only one observation,(imagine 3-4). The two first for me were on the american continent where I lived (lights in the sky - incontestably nonhuman for me due to the trajectories, travel speeds etc...), I do not know if they are of interest for your website.

My latest is this one, I wish to report it because I do not know how to interpret it and it leaves me with some doubts.

The date (estimated) : 15 or 16 July, 2005

Area : North east of Chatellerault (Forest between Chatellerault and La Roche Posay)

The circumstances, a walk in the forest with my uncle and my wife (who is skeptical).

After a long walk in forest after midday, we passed by a clearing with a slightly panoramic point of view.

We noticed within a few km from us, rather low above the forest what at first sight resembled a montgolfier. After deepened observation, we noticed 1 / the absence of a nacelle, 2 / a perfect round form. The "balloon" was in addition completely motionless. Its color was gray (tempted to say with metallic reflections). We agreed that it was not a montgolfier (absence of nacelle and too perfect round form), and we interpretted this as being a weather balloon (we passed by again in the wood and didn't see it anymore).

However, afterwards, I consulted the web on weather balloons and what I have been able to dig does not corespond at all to that we saw:

1 / the size of the object was hard to interpret (lack of reference mark and long distance) but it seemed very big - much more than a montgolfier for example.

2 / Its perfect round form does not correspond either to standard weather balloons.

3 / It seemed completely motionless and did not seem affected by any winds.

Was this type of observation already made elsewhere?

Thanks in advance,
